Building Community: Highlights from Our First EP x MB Workshop

This past weekend, we hosted the very first EP x MB Collective photography workshop, and I still can’t stop smiling and thinking about it. I honestly felt like a proud mom watching all the attendees learn, grow, and connect with each other. There’s something so special about seeing people take in new skills, step outside their comfort zones, and gain confidence in real time.

Planning, hosting, and bringing this whole event to life was such a fun experience. From helping coordinate the details to setting up the space, it was a labor of love. Seeing it all come together with the help of an incredible vendor community made me appreciate just how valuable a strong, supportive network is in this industry. The EP x MB Collective photography workshop truly reinforced the power of community in learning and growing as photographers.

Every little moment—from the first introductions to the lightbulb moments when things clicked—made me so grateful to be part of this journey. We laughed, we learned, and we created something truly special together. And if this first workshop was any indication, this is just the beginning of something amazing.
